Hello learners, hope you and your dear ones are doing well and having a great Sunday. So, back again to learn lesson from teabag. Today’s blog we will see a great legendary rivalry and would ponder something related to versatility.
Let’s begin with a question……would you like to have a black tea? I suppose there would rarely be someone who would like to have black tea. Mostly everyone will adorn tea with milk and sugar. Right!
Example is very important to understand…. Isn’t it!
Everyone would be knowing the above 2 legendary personalities Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The 2 greatest football players of all-time.
Now the question is who is more valuable player in terms of skills. Ronaldo or Messi? We have seen both of them being fabulous on field.
But still I would prefer valuation of Ronaldo over Messi. The reason is we would have seen Ronaldo playing sharply and precisely with both legs while Messi plays mostly with his strong left leg.
The point is Ronaldo has worked continuously to advance and develop an extra skill to play equally perfect with both legs. That’s what the versatility is!
(Note- Not at all judging Messi. just a small example so don't get offended)
Infact there is a soccer school in London, UK. Where they make you wear blue sock in 1 leg and red sock in other and on MWF i.e., Monday, Wednesday, Friday the players are supposed to play with leg in which they have worn blue sock while on other days with red sock worn leg. They are training their players constantly to be more and more versatile.
As we know the world is changing at great rate you need to acquire new skills constantly to cope up with new world. Your Teenage ( Ideally 18-25 years) is right time to develop your skills sets. Because in this age you get to know about new topics and how to approach them. It is very natural that in teenage you might get valued on your academics or merits but in real world you will be valued for your skills.
Don’t be a black Tea,
Because everyone out there Like Masala Chai only!
You will have to learn to keep exploring new subjects and keep yourself updated with new skills. Remember change brings growth. So, stab the opportunity and reap it consciously.
