Hello everyone…. hope you guys are doing well! Here, today is the last lesson from teabag series where we will talk about one of the most important quality – PATIENCE.
I know you would have heard so many things regarding patience and yes certainly that is something we need to understand also. Today I just have sporty examples and examples to make you understand how patience is important.
You all know it’s not like you have a teabag, you have hot water you just dipped teabag in water and your tea is ready. No! you need to give the teabag it’s time to let its ingredients get melt and mix with water. Then and then you enjoy a tea!
I know you guys love practical’s to understand a lot and are always eager to hear something new……isn’t it!
26th November 1992, India Vs South Africa 2nd test at Johannesburg India was in no manner to win the match they need to survive 2nd innings against one of the great spells of Allan Donald. Sachin Tendulkar playing calmly scored 75 at the end of 2nd day.
Allan Donald started the next day with same pace and accuracy. The spell was such that Sachin realized that he needs to be patience to survive the spell.
Sachin constantly started leaving the balls which were outside off stump before lunch break on 3rd day Sachin had only hit one cover drive. After about 6 and half hours of patience innings Sachin scored his 4th test century by facing almost 270 delivers with almost 150 km/hr pace. This innings led India to draw the test match.
Also, the recent Gabba test innings by Cheteshwar Pujara was one the best examples of what patience looks in real world. I bet you would never seen someone being so focused and patience while 150 km/hr bouncers being hit almost 12 times on thumb, wrist, neck shoulders and many more body parts. Still the man stood like a wall between his wicket and bowler.
With utmost patience Cheteshwar Pujara stood on that bloody wicket for 211 Delivers while scoring 53 runs and helped India to create a history. what do you think it’s easy? This fucking need guts man you are being tortured with ball and even sledging like a hell still you be so calm and composed that’s real TEST of your patience.
No single process or destination can be conquered without being patience.

No success is overnight even to see a full moon you need to wait for a month.
I remember snaps from my friend Dhairya Sharma. Where he just mentions धैर्य रखें (Keep patience). You can read his blog at https://sharmaspeaks.home.blog/
