A Fable to make you stable!!
Use this super Sunday to Reflect, Refuel, Refocus by Just chilling and relaxing! grab your books and pen to take down thoughts and get engaged with today’s surprise element!
We are all globally witnessing so many enviromental issues which are creating impact on living organism. It’s our responsibilty to work on such issues and overcome them.
Let’s have fiction with information.
It was one bright sunny day. An elderly man went for shopping of grocery and everyday essentials to a shopping mall. The man used to purchase his all-essential products from that mall on regular basis. After purchasing all his essentials, he proceeded towards the billing counter.
The young cashier following his job checked every product and started listing them one by one. The bill got ready and he paid the amount to the cashier. Later on, he asked the cashier to provide him a carry bag for his convictions. The cashier became slightly high headed and in a little high-pitched voice
The cashier said: “you’re mature enough; you should bring your handbags for shopping rather than asking for plastic bags because plastic bags are so harmful to the environment”.
The elder man felt apologetic and said “well we didn’t have the green thing back in my day”.
The cashier became more furious and snapped “that’s exactly the problem, your generation has always been careless your generation never bothered and be sensitive enough to take care of nature and surroundings around you for us the future generations”.
The elder man apologized and left the place with his purchased products. The manager of the mall witnessed the whole conversation. The day went well just like a normal day for a cashier.
It was now evening time and the shift of cashier was about to get over. The manager called him to his office. And said you know what he was right. That generation didn’t have the green thing back in their day.
Cashier (seemed confused asked): what are you talking about?
Manager (calmly): In the morning at billing, I saw your conversation with that elder guy.
The manager said come on let’s have a small walk-in nearby garden. They went for a stroll and while they were walking.
Manager: You might never know but the elder man you were talking to this morning that generation had a habit of collecting milk bottles and soda bottles. They used to use it and return it to the vendor so that vendor can send it back to the plant and the company can wash through a process and reuse the same bottles again and again. 🍶
The cashier was surprised after hearing.
Manager (with excitement): Oh you own a very cool pen, once it gets over what will u do? 🖊
Cashier: I will get a new one!
Manager: Okay they use to refill their pens with ink instead of buying a new pen. ✒
But that generation didn’t have “The Green Thing” back in the day.
Manager: what do you own bike or car?
Cashier: a bike 🏍
Manager: so, you travel everywhere with it while they walked up the stairs and nearby places instead of using the vehicles. They didn’t use the machine every single time just to go 2 blocks away.
But I think he was right they didn’t have “The Green Thing” back in their day. They used to wear their elder brother sister’s clothes and not buy every single time a brand-new thing. 👕
But yeah, they didn’t have “The Green Thing” back in their day. They blended and stirred the thing in the kitchen by hand, not by electric machines.
Manager: you know my father used to send many fragile items to my uncle through the post. He used to cushion that item with old newspaper and never with plastic bubble wrap.
But I think he was right they didn’t have “The Green Thing” back in their day.
Cashier: Sorry sir I understood. I am sorry for what I said to the old man. I would be more careful of my acts in the future.

Its fact that current generation is mourning how the older generation is wasting resource and are blaming our ancestor with environmental disaster. Just because they didn’t have “The Green Thing” back in their day.
This message is not in support to criticize the technology which owns a great value in our and neither it means to suggest to go back to old living patterns which is not possible. This message is to remind you that it’s easy to blame. It’s a high time we collectively should stop blaming each other and find a solution to have a healthy environment. 🌳🌲🌴🏡
I hope you guys learned something useful from fable and Now this time I won’t say to share it’s your duty to spread awareness about enviroment and comment what you learned from the fable in comment box below!
