Wishing you a very Happy Hello Day (21 Novemeber) and Welcome to the communication show……. Let’s celebrate this Hello day with having a very positive, constructive and a good conversations!

So basically, we communicate to establish the 4 goals.

• To inform – You are providing information for in decision making, but aren’t necessarily advocating a course of action.
• To request – You request for specific action by receiver.
• To persuade – You reinforce or change a receiver belief about topic and possibly expect the receiver to act on belief.
• To Build relationship – Some messages you send may have a simple goal of building good will between you and receiver.

Also, to have effective communication it totally depend upon the following feature:

• Eye contact
• Posture
• Simplicity in language
• Questioning skills.

The basic and main feature on which communication depends is ‘Hearing’.

Once a wise man said, “Be careful with the things you only ‘Hear’!”

Now when we talk about hearing it just amplifies the need to listen to things. The word listen describes the whole basic needs to improve communication.

Follow LISTEN to influence and attract the people around you!

Listening has 5 levels:

1. Ignore listening
2. Pretend listening
3. Selective listening (I will hear what I like)
4. Attentive listening
5. Empathic listening
